The Funeral Procession of KGPAA Mangkunagoro IX was Held
(15/08/2021), the funeral procession of KGPAA Mangkunagoro IX was held. A group of soldiers were on standby at the entrance of Pura Mangkunegaran to guard the funeral procession of KGPAA Mangkunagoro IX.
A series of procedures are carried out at the Pura Mangkunegaran before the departure of the body. Relatives and community leaders attended the event while still implementing health protocols.
The body of KGPAA Mangkunagoro IX departed from Pura Mangkunegaran and was buried in Astana Giri Layu, Matesih, Karanganyar, Central Java. Astana Giri Layu is known as the burial complex of the Pura Mangkunegaran collectors and their sons and daughters.
