Balekambang Park Prepares Festive Entertainment for Christmas and New Year 2025/2026

Surakarta, Desember 12, 2025 — Taman Balekambang Solo is set to host a series of entertainment events to celebrate Christmas and New Year (Nataru) 2025/2026. From December 13, 2025, to January 1, 2026, the park will feature art performances, music concerts, and creative activities involving local Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

Bonita Rintyowati, Head of the Taman Balekambang Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD), explained that the event is designed to provide an inclusive recreational space while supporting local artists and creative economy actors.

Event Highlights

A variety of entertainment will be held daily, including traditional dances, acoustic bands, reog (a traditional Javanese dance), campursari (a blend of traditional Javanese and modern music), and cultural showcases.

• December 13–21: Visitors can enjoy performances by Sanggar Pincuk, Pung & Friends, and a cultural showcase at Lapangan Partinah.
• December 25–26: The atmosphere will be enlivened by a Cultural Showcase, Soifduth, and Campursari New Puspita featuring Lala Atila.
• Peak Events (December 27–31): Features include the Jimbe Malinke Attraction, Good Morning Everyone, The Redeg Rock Band Classic, and artistic performances by Solo students.
• New Year's Eve (December 31): The main stage will be packed with performances from The Solo Doctor, Pecas Ndahe, Himawan Diamond, and will be attended by the Vice Mayor of Solo, Astrid Widayani.
• January 1, 2026: Balekambang will remain open, offering creative programs such as MSME workshops, batik classes, and musical entertainment that lasts into the evening.

Most events in the Balefest 2025 series are non-commercial, meaning visitors only need to pay the Balekambang Park entrance ticket of Rp5,000.

However, there are two special events that require separate tickets:

• Ramayana Dance Drama: Rp50,000 (does not include the Balekambang entrance ticket).
• New Year's Eve Concert: Rp35,000 (already includes the Balekambang entrance ticket).

All tickets, both regular and special, can be purchased online through the Artatix platform at artatix.co.id.

Through the collaboration of culture and arts, music, support for MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises), and a focus on social inclusion, the organization of Balefest 2025 aims to enhance the image of Balekambang Park and strengthen Solo's position as a city centered on art and culture that is welcoming to all people
