Mass Dance Bedhayan Naradipta Solo Dancing 2023

In Sanskrit Naradipta means shining man, or king, leader. Meanwhile, in the dance work of Bedhayan Naradipta, the dominant white costume is an expression of the sacred hope of the entire community to welcome and deliver a leader who is populist and sparkling.

“Manunggaling Kawula Gusti” the people and leaders synergize towards the light to illuminate the world.

Inviting the community to give thanks, move and dance together through the procession of the bedhayan dance, offerings, solah bowo, tumpengan and gunungan as the opening of the “Solo Dancing” event in the framework of the celebration of “World Dance Day”, 29 April 2023.
