Tourist Attractions Update of Surakarta that are Operate on a Limited Access
Update of tourist attraction in Surakarta which has been operating for a limited time after being closed for more than 5 months due to COVID-19.
The re-opening of the tourist attraction of Surakarta in the New Normal era is by continuing to implement health protocols in each destination. The Health Protocol implemented according to the Government’s recommendations is as follows:
- Visitors must use a mask
- Washing hands before entering Sriwedari Puppet Building
- Body temperature does not exceed 37.5°C
- Implement a minimum distance of 1 meter from other visitors
- Visitors under 15 years old, the elderly and pregnant women are prohibited from entering the building
The attractions of Surakarta, which have been in limited operation, are as follows:
◾Mangkunegaran Temple (every day, 8 a.m – 1 p.m (excluding public holidays))
◾Keris Museum (Tuesday – Sunday, 9 a.m – 2 p.m)
◾Radya Pustaka Museum (Tuesday – Sunday, 9 a.m – 2 p.m)
◾Danar Hadi Museum (Friday – Wednesday, Thursday off, 10 a.m – 4.30 p.m)
◾Lokananta Museum (Monday – Friday, Saturday & Sunday closed, 8 a.m – 4.30 p.m)
◾Tumurun Museum (Via Reservation)

◾Kauman Village
◾Balekambang Park (every day, 8 a.m – 4 p.m)
◾Kethoprak Balekambang (every two weeks at 8 p.m)
◾Ramayana Ballet (every once a month in full moon night at 7.30 p.m)
◾Jurug Solo Zoo (Saturday – Thursday, Friday off, 8 a.m – 3:30 p.m)
