The Founder of Mataya art dan heritage, Heru Mataya, has achieved another milestone. In an Instagram post by @karismaeventnusantara on December 29, 2025, Heru Mataya —Director of the Festival Payung Indonesia— was awarded People Behind Event of the Year 2025 as part of Karisma Event Nusantara (KEN) Solo 2025.
The Karisma Event Solo 2025 became an agenda aimed at supporting regional tourism promotion and cultural preservation. Inspirational figures such as Heru Mataya play an important role in creating sustainable, high quality, and highly attractive events.
