Grebeg Sudiro “Knitting Harmony in Diversity”

Grebeg Sudiro is an annual event shows the acculturation of Javanese-Chinese cultures as the symbolizes of Sudiroprajan area as “Assimilation Village”

“Knitting Harmony in Diversity” become the theme of Grebeg Sudiro this year after an absence for two years

Grebeg Sudiro stole the  antusiasm of the audience in celebrate the Lunar New Year 2023 and it  was crowded in Pasar Gedhe area. Sunday (15/01/23)

Grebeg Sudiro showed several performing arts such as tradtional dance, lion dance, music, etc. The excitement of Grebeg Sudiro  closed by  installing of teapot lanterns and distribution of thousands of  kue keranjang.

Excitement of Grebeg Sudiro is not only cultural carnival. There are several performing arts helding on January 10^th and January 30^th 2023:

– Umbul Mantram (12 January) at 6 PM – end

– Cultural Carnival (15 January) at 1 PM – end

– Bazzar (10-30 January) at 6 PM – end

–  Art Perfomarnce Stage (10-30 January 2023) at 7 PM – end

– Harmoni Sudiro Stage (21 January 2023) at 6 PM – end
