Celebrating World Dance Day, Solo Menari 2023 Was Successfully Held

(Saturday, 04/29/2023) In commemoration of World Dance Day, as many as hundreds of dancers participated in the Bedhayan Naradhipta mass dance at the 2023 Solo Dancing event in the Ngarsopuro corridor area.

Mayor of Solo City, Gibran Rakabuming and Sandiaga Uno as VIP guests also participated in the mass dance.

Not only presenting Javanese traditional dances, but also presenting Ramayana Pasar Gede performances at Pasar Gede Hardjonagoro, Kauman Dancing & Fashion Dances at Kauman Batik Village, Community Arts & Dance Market Performances at Triwindu Market, Urban Dance Performances at Gatsu Corridor and Modern Dance Performances at Paragon Mall. This program will be useful in strengthening the identity of Solo City as a City of Performing Arts and increasing tourist visits to the Solo City.

Solo Menari in 2023 was selected to be included in 100 selected events in the Kharisma Event Nusantara (KEN) 2023 program from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy.
