Srimpi Mondrorini Dance and Bedhaya Bedhah Madiun Dance Make the Setuponan Art Performance Looks Sacred but Entertaining 000000
Setuponan which was held on Saturday (02/22/2020) has succeeded in capturing public attention by presenting some classical Mangkunegaran dances and also some typical dances outside the region.
It was opened with a Pasambahan Dance from the Ranah Minang Dance Studio then continued with two Mangkunegaran style dances namely Srimpi Mondrorini Dance and Bedhaya Bedhah Madiun Dance by Pakarti Puro Mangkunegaran making the Setuponan art performance sacred but entertaining.
The “Piring” Dance becomes the closing performance of the event which is routinely held every Saturday Pon in the Prangwedanan. Hopefully, this routine event can continue to love and appreciate the heritage of Indonesian culture, especially Surakarta.
