Solo City Won 2nd Place in the 2019 Trisakti Turism Award in the Culinary & Shopping Tourism Category

The Trisakti Tourism Award is a tribute to the local governments who excels in developing tourism in their regions. This event was held at the Grand Sahid Hotel, on Jalan Sudirman, Central Jakarta, Sunday (12/22).

Also present at the awarding ceremony, The Former President of Indonesia Megawati Soekarno Putri, Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Wishnutama, Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasona Laoly, Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi, and Minister of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection I Gusti Ayu Bintang Darmawati.

The contested categories are Marine Tourism, Ecotourism, Adventurous Tourism, Cultural and Historical Heritage Tours, as well as culinary and shopping tours.

The 2019 Trisakti Tourism Award winners are as follows:

Eco Tourism category

I. Banyuwangi Regency, East Java

The Category of Cultural and Historical Heritage Tourism

I. Tabanan Regency, Bali

II. Southwest Sumba Regency, NTB

III. Payakumbuh Regency, West Sumatra
