Sanggar Wayang Gogon, as One of The Creative Economy Community in Surakarta

There is something interesting about the creative economy community Sanggar Wayang Gogon which was founded in 2008. The location is at Halilintar Street 140, RT 3, RW 10, Kentingan, Jebres, Surakarta.

Sanggar Wayang Gogon is engaged in the creative economy of Surakarta-style leather puppets, and other accessories including leather souvenirs, wall hangings, table decorations, key chains all made of leather.

Apart from producing puppets and others, they also hold workshop on wayang sungging, puppetry, musical instruments, dance and vocal / vocal arts.

As well as other activities introducing wayang with any media by making wayang stories and introducing wayang characters, on social media.
