The Surakarta City Government received a Decree as the Leading Creative City for Performing Arts Sub-Sector based on the results of performance monitoring.

The City Government of Surakarta along with 9 Indonesian Creative Words for 2019 and 11 (eleven) Indonesian Creative Words for 2021 received a Decree from the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy/ Tourism and Creative Economy Agency at the 2021 Creative Word Determination Event. Surakarta City Government received a Decree as a City Creative Performing Arts Leading Sub-Sector based on the results of performance monitoring.
Submission of the said Decree is the final stage of a series of implementation of the 2021 Creative Indonesia Regency/City Development Program (KaTa).
