Brayat Minulya Hospital was established on December 8, 1949, originally named a Medical Center and Maternity Home with a capacity of six beds. It was located at Kebalen No. 2, Solo, and managed by the BKK Sisters. Due to the need for more space, in March 1952, the hospital was relocated to Jl. Tagore 51-52 (now Jl. Setiabudi No. 106). To enhance community-oriented services, on February 22, 1989, Brayat Minulya Hospital was officially handed over to a new management body, the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Francis (OSF) Semarang. The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ir. H. Joko Widodo, was born in this hospital on June 21, 1961.
