Mangkunegaran holds Sura Mangkunegaran 2025 with the sacred procession Kirab Pusaka Dalem 1 Sura Dal 1959, Thursday night, June 26, 2025. This tradition serves as a space for reflecting on the passage of time, Atita (the past), Atiki (the present), and Anagata (the future). The series begins with Atita, represented through prayer and communal dining, followed by the Macapat at the Pendhapa Ageng, and the collective burning of "hope papers" as an act of reflection and gratitude for the past. Following the Atita procession, Atiki embodied through the Tapa Bisu procession, a silent march involving 1,000 participants as an expression of self-reflection. The royal heirlooms (Pusaka Dalem) are carried by royal attendants (Abdi Dalem), led by G.P.H. Paundrakarna as the ceremonial guide (cucuk lampah). After the procession, K.G.P.A.A. Mangkoenagoro X distributes udik-udik (blessings in the form of coins and grains) as symbols of goodwill, followed by the Jamasan Pusaka (sacred heirloom cleansing) ritual by using traditional instruments. The peak of the event concludes with Anagata, a moment of silent meditation at Pendhapa Ageng, serving as a time for stillness and envisioning the future.
