Balaikambang Park is one of 17 Priority development points  in Solo city which  has just  been reopened for the public after revitalizations for almost one year. It is about 98 ha, located on Balaikambang street No. 1 Manahan Banjarsari Surakarta .

Balekambang   was built on 26 October 1921 by KGPPA Mangkunegoro VII ( !916-1944 ) as the symbol of father's  affection  to his daughters that’s manifested in the form of Partini Tuin and Partinah Bosch . it was closed for public since the  era of Mangkunegoro VII which was finally opened to  the public in the Mangkunegoro VIII era.

Recently , Balaikambang has new look after being renovated , botanical garden using natural stone materials as supporting elements , making Balekambang a real incarnation of Javanese cultural Ecology Park .It ‘s not only as a space  for natural conservation , but as the reflection of local wisdom of Solo in every aspect as well. It is  expected to be the center of  Javanese culture  in the future.
