Bakmi Toprak is one of option on Solo culinary hunting. Although it has similar  name with Kethoprak Jakarta, but it’s not the same dishes. Kethoprak Jakarta filled by ketupat (a Javanese rice cake packed inside a diamond-shaped container of woven palm leaf pouch) with peanut sauces. Bakmi Toprak serves noodles or thin rice noodles (Bihun) and poured with beef broth, slices of  cabbage, slices of tofu, tempeh, sliced fried egg and fried peanut.

Besides that, there is also slices of beef topping, slices of celery, bean sprouts poured in the soup.

People adds karak (chips from slices of rice dough that are sliced, dried and then fried), sambal (thick sauce), slices of lime, and completed with soy sauce.

Bakmi Toprak seller can be found in many places in Solo city. The price of the dish is about Rp. 10.000 – Rp. 17.000.
