Nasi Tumpang is Javaness cuisine which consisted of rice and many type of boiled vegetables like spinach, sprout, beans and then poured with sauce. The sauce made from a mixture of tempe semangit (rotting tempe) which mashed and mixed with coconut milk. Futhermore, the sauce’s added with tofu, boiled egg and krecek (cow crackers). Tumpang can be served with hot porridge (as substitute for rice) and it’s called tumpang porridge. You can find nasi tumpang around Manahan Stadium every morning.
